At SCHEDETAL, we constantly annalyse technical developemnts in the plastics industry and use them to design and produce modern products. At the same time, our research and development continues to focus on meeting current roofing and waterproofing requirements.

It is the mixture of innovative methods of production, properly selected and researched raw materials, and practical experience that presents the users of our waterproofing systems with that strong sense of security and reliability.

In the 1960s, innovations within the plastics industry saw the development of a new generation of synthetic membranes based on ECB, (ethylene co-polymer bitumen). For the civil engineering industry, this caused an immdediate positive impact in the field of above and below gound waterproofing.

FPO (flexible polyolefin), characterised by new properties and colours was later developed from the basis of ECB.

Many decades before, SCHEDETAL had taken the opportunity to produce felt and other textil products for the application as protective layer for flat roofs. To this day, our company still belongs to a small group of manufacturers in Germany that produce and sell this eco-friendly product.
